Hello. Very interesting site and you lead a very interesting discussion. There is a nice atmosphere here and I'm sure I will often read your posts.
From time to time I will also try to write something interesting.

Thank u for these wonderful informations! I got my Cheyenne thru a animal rescue in turkey...she was thrown out of a cab, being approx. 4 weeks old. She fits your description to the fullest and I noticed the "talent for gardening" already ;-). She is turning 10 month now, being so wonderful, independent, goofy and perfect with other dogs...I feel blessed to have her in my life.

Anatolians are the best. A big cat (panther), caught on a neighbor's trail cam, attacked one of our horses a week before Christmas 2008. He is OK but deep cuts to his faces and throat. The next day, I found a breeder not too far from us and we brought home Kelly, a two year old female, the day after Christmas and purchased two males out of a litter the breeder had. Kelly is remarkable. She actaully went after the cat one week after she came home and it has not been back. The boys, Boris and Brutus, came home at seven weeks and Kelly treated them as her own and has trained them well. The training is amazing to watch. Your statement that two in tact males will not get along is absolutely true. Boris has now been neutered. The boys are a year old now and are very different. Brutus has almost a Mastiff head and Boris is very refined. All three are wonderful and loving and I have no more worries about predators. Your website is wonderful and very informative. Thanks.

My "HanK" is an Anatolian crossed with a Great Pyrenees, but reading your blogs, seeing your pics and videos, he is an Anatolian all the way. You are right, his eyes tell you everything. I have had many different breeds of dogs in my lifetime and I have to say the Anatolian is my favorite.

I just wanted to thank you for your site, Me rescued our Gus from a shelter 3 years ago. When we got him they said he was either, great pyrenees, greman shepred, chow and bull mastive mix. lol Well I have recently been working on trying to figure out what he is, because he is so laid back, and lovable. He is just a big lap dog!
